Winged is built on behavioral science, not engagement metrics. Co-founder Niina Saaranen brings a Master's in Psychology and Anthropology, years of hands-on matchmaking experience, and research that shaped her own relationships. Co-founder Mikaela Mäensivu lived the frustration of modern dating apps firsthand — Winged exists because she refused to accept that shallow algorithms were the best we could do. We've partnered with professional matchmakers and dating platforms to train our AI agents on real compatibility patterns. Combined with voice cloning technology and agentic systems, we've created something unique: agents that understand nuance, context, and the subtle signals that determine whether two people will actually connect.
